How to apply
Four steps, one committee, and a set of obligations that continue after your paper is published.

Register
Verify your institutional identity through your federation. We do not accept personal email addresses.

Apply
Describe the research question, the cohorts needed, and attach the ethics approval that covers it.

Committee
The relevant data access committee reviews against the original consent. Meetings are fortnightly.
04
Agreement
Your institution signs the data access agreement. Access is provisioned within one working day of signature.

Application questions
Yes, for cohorts whose consent permits commercial research. The dataset page states this explicitly, and the committee will check it again.
An ethics approval that does not cover the proposed secondary use. The second most common is requesting whole cohorts when the question needs a subset.
No fee for academic access. Commercial access carries a cost-recovery charge for compute and egress, published in the schedule.
